Qoncert, a leading systems integration firm, has been named the official wireless data provider of the Tampa Bay Lightning and St. Pete Times Forum.

Tampa, FL - November 20th, 2008 -- Qoncert, a leading systems integration firm, has been named the official wireless data provider of the Tampa Bay Lightning and St. Pete Times Forum.  Qoncert, a Cisco Gold Partner and Cisco Advanced Unified Wireless Specialized Partner, has upgraded the 802.11b and 802.11g radios in the facility to Cisco's highly advanced 1242 Access Points ensuring patrons and media quick and easy access to all of the wireless resources of the St. Pete Times Forum, including Internet access.

Terms of the agreement include the implementation and upgrade of the wireless components inside the venue as well as a service and maintenance agreement. Qoncert is providing wireless equipment from market leader Cisco. Patrons should notice enhanced coverage for their Personal Data Devices and Laptop Notebook Computers. This includes enhanced coverage for the media.

Qoncert will be implementing the IEEE 802.11 b/g technology to allow for greater bandwidth. In addition, Qoncert will be implementing more access points to ensure coverage throughout the arena. To celebrate, Qoncert took several of their top clients to the November 13th Red Wings game at the CCM Club, an open air suite in the venue.  A good time was had by all and Qoncert was able to demonstrate their advanced capabilities with Cisco Wireless Products.   In addition, Qoncert received a surprise visit from the lovely Lightning Girls!
